After much hesitation and indecision......I have decided to give in (to my loving sister) and create a blog. She is a master at blogging about her life and family. I am in no way going to be as good at it as she is, but I am going to try my best so bear with me! I love technology, but this is one part of that I have not had a lot of experience with. I have seen how many memories have been recorded and remembered because of her blog, and I want to have that for my new baby girl and my family. So here goes.....
On December 18th, 2011 my husband John and I were blessed beyond measure with a beautiful 7 lb. baby girl that we named Lola Kate Boyter. She came into the world at 3:45 a.m. screaming her head off! At that moment I thought, "Boy are we in for it now." Since then, I am happy to say that I have never heard her scream like that again. She is absolutely the best baby I have ever met (I know she is mine, but I'm not kidding).
Tomorrow she will be exactly 6 weeks old and she eats consistently every three hours and sleeps through the night. When I say she sleeps through the night I mean from about 11 p.m. until 8:30 or 9 in the morning. She has been sleeping like that since she was about 4 weeks old. Before that she basically slept through the night too, but would only wake up once, rarely twice to eat before falling back to sleep. She is a little piglet we say because ever since she arrived in this world she has been a good eater. I think that is why she sleeps so well. Soon I'll post soon some newborn pictures and 1 month pictures, but for now, that's all you get (Lo)! I will try to back my story up a little with details of the night she was born and how we got where we are right now, but I will save that for another day. I'll leave you with a few pictures from the day Lola was born!
